With all the buzz surrounding our community in Richmond’s Marina Bay, I just had to get out there and find out for myself what everyone is talking about! I was anything but disappointment between the excitement of the new construction and all that the area has to offer.
Last week we released a new building for sale. Already, there have been sales. The homeowners from this building will have the luxury of choosing all of their options and watching their home be built from foundation stage. It is hard to believe that in just 6 months their home will be completed and go from sticks in the air to beautiful homes on the water.
I can see why these buyers were so anxious to live in this area. It is beautiful here and there is so much to do! Stroll on the shoreline esplanade or grab a sandwich from Amini’s deli, http://www.yelp.com/biz/aminis-by-the-bay-richmond and pinic in any of the public parks dotting the bay front. There is a wonderful restaurant close by if you are interested in a more formal setting as well, www.salutemarinabay.com. Watch the pelicans skim the water near Brooks Island, http://www.ebparks.org/parks/brooks_island. Perhaps one of the most enticing features of the area is the Marina Bay Trail! Walkers, joggers, bicyclists, skaters etc can enjoy over 26 miles of trails at the edge of the harbor, water and wild life preserves. Even on a foggy day you can see the silhouette of the San Francisco Skyline. Check out the video: Richmond Marina Bay
It is not just for sailing and boating. There is also a lot of history here at Marian Bay. Come enjoy the tales of the area’s rich past. It dates back to 2000 BC. The Bay Trail actually has a variety of fascinating stories illustrating the history of Richmond’s shoreline and describing its tidal wetlands, wildlife and offshore islands.
If you haven’t had a chance to come out here, I strongly suggest it. Stop by our models and see the world-class views of San Francisco for yourself!
